Each semester, the Library hires several Library Assistants from our current student body. Preference is given to students in the First Year Abroad Program who will be staying in Florence for multiple semesters.  The Library Assistants run the Circulation Desk of the Library, and are responsible for checking books in and out, helping students and professors to find materials, and shelving books when needed.  This is a fantastic opportunity for students to earn income while living abroad and gain new friends and colleagues in Florence.
